I can't believe my eyes when I look at old pictures of me.  All in all, I've lost 40 lbs and 7 pants sizes, but this journey has been WAY more than that. I've gained more than I ever thought possible. I've gained happiness I didn't know I was missing, self confidence I didn't know existed, friends I would have never met and more energy than I know what to do with. 
I remember the exact day my health and fitness journey started. I had just gotten weighed in at the doctor and I looked up at the BMI chart and saw my age/weight under the "overweight" category. What had happened to me? I had always been active and into sports. I' had always loved working out. But, I also loved food and drinks.   I was teaching and bartending (and in love ) and I had totally let myself go. I left the doctor and went to the Target to go shopping. I couldn't fit in any of the clothes I brought into the dressing room. I was embarrassed.  I decided then and there that a change had to be made. I tried vegaterian, low carb, no carb, no sugar, low fat, etc. I paid a lot of money on gym memberships, weight watchers, "magic fat burning pills", spin class, barre... I was losing weight. Kinda. But then I'd gain it back. Not until I dialed in clean eating, and portion control did the pounds stop dropping off. And quickly. This isn't a "diet" it's a lifestyle change. I eat what I want (within reason) and I don't starve myself. I've never felt happier or healthier ever in my life.  Our accountability group gets me through my struggle days. Yes even coaches struggle, we are human after all.


Over the last 4 months I have gone through a major transformation, both physically and emotionally. 4 months ago I made a commitment to myself that I would become a healthier version of me. 4 months ago I signed up for a Challenge Group, not knowing that it would change my life.

Today I am so close to reaching my halfway goal for weight loss (50lbs) and I am closer to being a healthier me. I have more confidence, energy and drive than I did 4 months ago. This is truly a journey that will last a life time.

I share this journey with you guys not to brag but to hopefully inspire you!

Several months ago, I made a decision to make my health and fitness a priority. I was a victim of my own busy schedule.  Whether you work full or part time, have 1 child or 7, married or single, we are ALL busy people, and we ALL have the same 24 hours! When life gets crazy, I am the LAST person I take care of. I was worn out mentally & physically and I knew something needed to change.

I jumped into a challenge group for a fitness program called 21 Day Fix. The program required 3 things if me each day for 21 days:
  • To eat a balance of REAL foods
  • To complete a 30 minute workout
  • To drink a superfoods shake, Shakeology

After my first 21 day round, I lost 10 lbs and 8 inches, but what I gained was so much more: energy, strength, and mental clarity that I hadn't felt in a long time!
I could write a book and tell you all that this program has done for my health, but instead I'm going to let my pictures speak for me. The first pic is me in 2006. I have never publicly shared the picture. It shows a beautiful & happy mom who was in "survival mode" after 3 pregnancies in 4 years. I was the LAST person I took care of. Those khaki shorts were a women's size 16. In 2008 I embarked upon a fitness journey that enabled me to lose the inches that I had been carrying around since pregnancy. I then became a hobby runner which eventually led to marathon training with a friend in 2013. 2015 opened a new chapter when I went back to work full time. Again, life got busy and I was the LAST person I took care of. I was stuck in a rut of having no extra time yet I recognized my need for a good workout and eating plan.

The 2nd pic layout shows my results from 3 rounds of 21Day Fix. This program has taken all of the guesswork out of my nutrition and it’s provided me with the most effective series of daily workouts that I have ever used! I eat a ton of food, and I enjoy the workouts because they WORK! And, I do them in the comfort of my bonus room on MY schedule!

I've decided that sharing my story and coaching is the next step in my journey. If I can help just one person who feels STUCK, then it is worth putting myself out there! I have a passion for helping others and it turns out I have a love for fitness and exercise too!


I'm so excited!  I finished my second challenge today and am down 20.2 lbs and I have lost a total of 17". Holy cow!!! The best part of this is how GREAT I feel! I still have a long way to go to get to my goal and begin maintenance. Why don't you join me? We can help eat other along and hold each other accountable!
